The Utah Shakespeare Festival has been a part of Cedar City culture for over 50 years. They present classic and contemporary plays in repertory, with Shakespeare as the cornerstone. USF currently features a seasons of plays running from the end of June through October. During the summer portion of the season, the Festival offers a variety of six plays/musicals and they present three during the fall months.
The plays are enhanced by interactive festival experiences such as Litarary Seminars where patrons are encouraged to ask questions & listen to discussion about all aspects of the performances. Lunches with the cast and crew, Backstage Tours, Pre-play Orientations, Production Seminars and free musical Greenshows ensure an entertaining and enriching expericence at The Utah Shakespeare Festival.
The Iron Gate Inn B&B is less than two blocks from the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Guests can leave their vehicles at the inn and take a short stroll to the theaters and the Festival grounds.
